First Road Trip

Mom and I took Evan to Atlanta to see Bill and Kathy and Aunt Dot. Evan was a champ, he slept all the way down and all the way back. (we did have a few minutes of intense crying, but nothing a bottle would not take care of - thanks mom for climbing into the back seat - pretty nimble for a grandma!)
After Bill and Kathy's we went to Teresa's house and visited with Teresa and Ali. Evan loved being held by his gorgeous cousin Ali.

Fun with Adam

We had a great time at Adam's Baptism tonight. It was the first time our group got together with our kids; what a milestone! we have graduated from married couples to families!

Evan's first kiss

We have enjoyed the week. Evan had his first kiss from Savannah! We took him to the pool and of course had lots of naps. He is smiling at us and I did manage to get one semi picture of a grin - I'm not quick enough to get a good smile.

6 weeks of Evan

I am obviously not the best at posting, but I've been busy. This has been a great experience, but exhausting. Here are some pictures of the fun times we are having - Cades Cove, Matt & Emily's wedding, our best buddy Adam Wright, bath time, sleeping on dad and meeting our Great Grandmother

8lbs 3oz 20 3/4 inches What a MAN!!

We are in Love. This sweet baby came into the world Thursday June 12 at 7:30am via C-section. I will not go into details, it was frightening for daddy and me, but as the days progress I remember less and less, so much so, I would do this again.
Evan has my coloring (I was a red head/strawberry blonde) and his father's good looks. He is a great baby. Sleeps 3-4 hours at night! we have to wake him up to feed. And he loves to eat. We are learning as we go but enjoying every step of the way. I also have to mention what an incredible husband/baby daddy I have. Pat has been the best part about this whole experience. SO loving to me, he has taken the best care of me and I have not wanted for anything. As for Evan, I did not change a single diaper for 4 days. Daddy gets up and brings him to me if it's feeding time (he knows the signals) he changes diapers, gives bathes, and still finds time to cook dinner and breakfast! I am more in love with Pat now than ever before and find myself in a continuous state of awww over my husband and son.
Enjoy our Son!

2 more days until EMH arrives

All apologizes, I have really been a slacker as of late. Although this pregnancy has been easy on me and Pat, it has really slowed me down these last weeks. Thank goodness I am having this baby before we have much more of this 90 degree heat. I feel for all the women who have to go through this summer.
Apparently my little cousins in Atlanta :) want to see this enormous baby bump. In addition to my extention I am including pictures of what Pat and I have been up to during this 2 month hiatus. Enjoy!
