I can't believe we have had Evan for 3 months now. It has gone by so fast. Evan and I were getting ready to take a walk last night when Pat gave Evan a rasberry and Evan laughed out loud. It was so cute to hear this baby laugh. He loves to look at the baby in the mirror. He will sit and and talk to that baby for 10 minutes. I love hearing his little voice. Here are his 3 month pictures - He has lost the red hair and now his hair is coming in as a platnium blonde.
Evan has lost his hair. Mom and Dad predicted it would fall out, because mine did. And it seems they are right because there are some blonde little hairs coming in on top. I hope he gets the same shade of blonde mine was; with Pat and Dana's tan skin -watch out girls! Other than the lack of hair, Evan has enjoyed some time with the grandmothers as I rejoined the work force. I miss being with him, but work has kept me busy. Pat, Evan and I get to have some family time during lunch breaks, which also make it easy.
Not only was this my final week of maternity leave, but it was also Pat's birthday weekend. With two such important happenings we decided for a long weekend to my family's home in Alabama. Evan was dipped in the COLD creek water, went for a swim in the lake and hung out with his new pal Jonah. You might recognize Jonah from an earlier entry - he is too cute to miss. Pat and James (Jonah's daddy) have been good friends since Berry College. Enjoy! There are some great pictures from a wonderful last week.
Mom and I took Evan to Atlanta to see Bill and Kathy and Aunt Dot. Evan was a champ, he slept all the way down and all the way back. (we did have a few minutes of intense crying, but nothing a bottle would not take care of - thanks mom for climbing into the back seat - pretty nimble for a grandma!) After Bill and Kathy's we went to Teresa's house and visited with Teresa and Ali. Evan loved being held by his gorgeous cousin Ali.
