HGTV's David Bromstad

Those of you who know me know I get caught up in the moment sometimes. Well, here was another. David Bromstad was in town for the Home and Garden show and he came by work for a meet and greet and ice cream. Well, I got my ice cream (sorbet - for those who know I don't do ice cream) and Michael and I proceeded to use the toppings as props for our picture with David. He was so much fun. Time to Baby Proof

7 Months has been very developmental. Evan started speaking English "dada", crawling backwards, has 2 teeth, pulling up and now crawling forwards. He is so fun to watch. It amazes me that he was a tiny baby not too long ago.

Sweetest Boy

I love this video. I tried to upload it with the last post, but something did not do right. You can tell by Pat's face, Evan has him wrapped around his finger. When Evan starts chanting dada I use it to me advantage. -Apparently he only wants dada to change the messy diapers!

Look who's talking now

Evan is saying dada. Pat comes running.
We are having a great time with our little man. Every day seems to bring new adventures. M-F we go to work wishing the day away so we can be at home with our family. Evan is growing and changing so much we don't want to miss anything. He is very mobile, not crawling forwards but backwards and rolling for the things he can't quite reach. He is so much fun.

January Happenings

Evan has a new favorite toy - Thomas the train. He likes to pull up on it, ride it, and press the buttons to hear the train's music and noise. I am hearing it even in my dreams. I think it might need to go to my mom's house so he can play with it there... We just came home from aunt Dana & uncle Grant's. Evan had a good time playing wiht them and his cousin Savannah and Ryleigh. It's the first time he has been around a puppy. Evan & Ryleigh did great, neither one hurt the other. Maybe we can get a dog :)

What a Merry Christmas

The battery in the camera died or I would have posted these 2 weeks ago when it was Christmas...
We had a great Christmas and have enjoyed watching Evan. He had his 6 month check up in December. He is 29 inches (98 percentile) & 18 lbs 4.5 oz. (57 percentile). Dr. Lin was impressed with how big and strong Evan is growing. Evan is sitting up but not crawling - yet - he's thinking about it.... We're looking forward to a wonderful and adventurous 2009.
