Finally Found What I was looking For!!

You know when you have your heart set on something how it is hard to settle for less? Well, I've been looking for a photographer who is not just a portrait taker, but someone with artistic talent. Let's face it, if you have ever tried to take pictures of your child you know how hard it is to get that perfect picture. Child moves faster than snapshot. Well, through a friend I found her. Rhonda Thompson - GIRL HAS GOT TALENT. I am so amazed with the pictures she took of Evan. The pictures are works of art. I'll post more when I get them but for now check out these amazing moments she captured. Also check out her website and if you need a talented photographer to make you look as good as she made me.... CALL HER!!

Happy 2010

Happy New Year!
Evan is back in "school" he goes Mondays and Thursdays. His teacher said he was sad on the first day, he kept asking for Mama and Dada. But he played nice and made us some arts and crafts for the fridgerator. Other than that we've played in the snow, had a great Christmas, spent time with "girl cousin" that's what he calls Averie. Hope all is well and no one has given up on us we are still alive, but exhausted when we finally get Evan down to sleep.

Visit with Kitty

We had a nice visit with Kitty on Sunday. Evan is just about as big as Kitty. He was a big helper raking leaves.
On a side note:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT TERESA!!!

Here is Evan in his granddaddy Jim's lap enjoying a book.

Happy Halloween

We did not take Evan tick or treating, mainly because he did not have a costume -because his mom is cheap - but it was cold and raining and UT was playing South Carolina.
Averie turned 1. Evan had some of her birthday cake and it turned him into a wild man. I think I will tell him he is allergic to chocolate.

Kitty and Evan

My grandmother hates to have her picture taken; so I had to sneak this shot. Evan was trying to get into her koy pond. He is almost as big as she is. 85 years old verses 15 months old.

Livin in the lap of luxury

Since the last post we have been to the beach- Cape San Blas Florida. Nice place, great friends and fabulous weather, we started Mother's Day Out, Spent 2 nights in Children's Hospital, Quit Mother's Day Out, went to Boomsday and saw fireworks for the first time, watched a Tennessee Football Game, jumped in the pool fully clothed all by ourself and scared mommy to death, went to the zoo a couple of times, hung out at the park, visited with Great Grandma Kitty and started Gymnastics. Pat has been to Baltimore for work. My work is winding down the busiest time of the year. Needless to say it has been CRAZY.
I should note the Children's Hospital visit. I enrolled Evan in a Mother's Day out program in a great church across the street from our neighborhood. Evan loved it -especially the playground time.. Well, he went 2 days caught a virus (the croup with complications called stridor) we rushed him to the emergency room where they admitted him because his breathing was not getting better. So after 2 nights in the hospital we were able to go home. East Tennessee Children's Hospital is wonderful, but I hope to NEVER have to be there again.
